Hello,

Here is a coupla' piccies of my car. I have the money to now buy some 17's but would like some suggestions as to what kind/colour I should purchase...I'm really undecided!!

Also, if you have any other suggestions as to what I could/should do then please feel free to fire away with them.

I'm a fan on black rims to light coloured car.. chrome is fading out, it powdercoat time

Maybe even white, but they may clash... if you have a look in the us show n shine, you'll see yellow cars with different coloured rims, thats a big help

Gunmetal forkstyle rims without a doubt! Or hyperblack rims look great on a yellow car. Good luck, and your car looks awsome!

I rekon white rims would look sweet on your ride especially chunky 5 spoke style.
Your car looks cool theres something about yellow lancers that always makes my head turn.

 

look for gunmetal or hyperblack w/ a polished lip, thatd look bad

 

Well I'm going to go rim hunting this saturday coming. I actually like the five spoke white rims the most atm, so I'm going with that idea in mind.

I'll post more pics when they have been bought and fitted.

Does anyone know if new springs will be required for this?

 

new springs wont be required for 17s...but it would be a good idea to lower your car if not already done so...coz i just bought 17s and havent got money to lower it yet...and the other day this dude comes up to me and says 'this car better have hydraulics or air bags coz it looks like a 4wd' lol

 

lol. How much dollars would I be looking at to have it lowered? A ballpark figure even...

 

Okay well, I ended up getting gold rims instead!!
