Question Brisbane Evo Performance Specialist!? :)

Hello everyone, sorry if this thread has been created before. I'm new to this forum & evo 7 jap spec :P... Please recommend a performance shop & personal experience, I'd like to give my evo some bolt ons... Exhaust, intake, front mount, clutch, tune... Don't want to suffer with problems!

By the way, I'd like to meet new people with Evos & go on some cool cruises ...

APC & NA Autosport & Engineering have both pumped out some prime examples. I haven't yet had work done at either yet, but after approaching both for a new clutch & basic prep prior to getting into sprint racing, I'll be using NA. Much friendlier & ready to talk me through my options... + they've already done work on my car for the previous 2 owners.

Everyone I have spoken to says NA Autosports is pretty good. But I'm not too keen on their tune pricing =S Can anyone say if they are worth the extra $$$$?

Yeahp. The ECU and SST i think they said. I don't want to give an exact figure (*Don't want to cause problems*) but it was around the $1.5K mark. I have spoken to some other vendors and they quoted around the $750 mark. Is that reasonable?

I haven't heard much things from any of em, because my cars not modified as yet...

But I presume they are good considering they are still open & a hks dealer? They have alot of evos & other performance cars either being built, etc... <--- Gt Auto....

Next Up - I believe they are another evo specialist, never had anything done there but spoken with Tuan think his the owner... Seems like a good fella...

East coast - don't know anything... Didn't they shut down?

Is yours evo x? Must be different price compared to older evos? I was quoted a little bit cheaper then that... I think you should visit evo specialist... Don't get your car tuned to anyone who has absolute no knowledge on evos...

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the thread necro - new to the forum and new to Evo's in general. Bought my Evo 7 about a month ago and am still learning its various eccentricities. I have contacted both East Coast Customs and APC regarding getting work done on my car. ECC have been quick to reply, and friendly in doing so. APC - haven't heard anything back from them (yet), although they came highly recommended.

I've been quoted $550 for work on the Evo, including flashing/tuning the ECU, and that includes a before/after dyno. I'm waiting to hear back about booking it in with them, and will provide more feedback afterwards.

The longer I have the car, the longer the list of things I want to get done is growing :P
