Question Tints

Hey,
I was thinking of getting new tints, but i have old ones still on, how do they take the old one off? What about the back window, with the demisting wires, what happens with that?

Thanks.

I'm hating my tinting.... I bought the car with tints on all the windows... but the dealer had to replace the windscreen to make it roadworthy (chips) so my windscreen isnt tinted at all... but the other windows are tinted so lightly I dont know why they bothered. Plus on 3 of the windows there is some serious bubbling and bubble lines.

How much would it cost to get it done again, removal of the old stuff and then getting some pretty dark stuff happening?

It's illegal to have tiint on the front windscreen, except near the top.

Tried to get it down years ago. They said they couldn't do it due to state laws.

I used Tint-A-Car here in Bunbury, and they broke every single demister line, and tried to get out of out saying there were already broken, yet i proved they weren't.. So they ended up swapping it for another full rear window, with a full working demister and tint.. And apparantly, they now give no warranty on the demisters..

I think thats a bit sad..
