drag combat

went to Kwinana on the weekend and was most impressed by the amount of people that were there both spectating and competing I had a pretty successfull day ( did not win anything but...) managed to do a P.B and got a 15.646 sec quarter mile run in and was managing it consistantly so I was rapt, I may of finally learnt how to drive in a straight line.

One of the gentleman that was there with me he managed to take off the winners trophy for the FWD 4 cyl section which he was rapt about.

Maybe in time to come that this club will be able to get enough members to make up a club display and and join in the fun

Congrats on having some fun !

I was lining up to go and watch, but we went to Brisbane and to the PowerCruise car show there, and to Willowbank Test and Tune which was pretty awesome..

Do you know if any other Lancers went up with you guys either ?

none from down this way but we had a club display there and the twin turbo nitro cooled magna was there a 4g15 dohc twin throttle body lancer and another car that is running the same gear as me and a couple of near stock lancers as well it was a very successful day as they ran dial your own times so it comes down to being the most consistant driver not the car that is the fastest

I find this a very good way to run drags.. dial your own is really good, they used to do it at Collie for the 8th Mile Drags couple of years ago,

I think he was doing about 16.6 which is really good as there are still plenty of gains for him to make in the car he has some foam airpods which are bolted straight onto the twin throttle body and the foamies are really restrictive so if he had a better cold air intake he would of gotten better times and he was running in the middle of the day if he had of been running at night it would of brought his time down further
