Wides Tyre

Anyone know if it is possible to fit 215 45 17 on a 2001 lancer without the need to roll the fenders? The car is lowed 2 inches. Any info will be appreciated.

Thanks

I'm assuming you are talking about the Aussie Lancer (known as Mirage in the USA), coz you are on the Aus forum, so...

Not sure about the 2001 model...
I have a 99 coupe. I tried to get 215/40/r17, but the seller told me that there would definitely be rubbing - he fitted some on the same car previously and they had to replace 'em coz of the rubbing.

And, it also may depend if you have a coupe or sedan.
Best way is to call up some wheel & tyre shops and ask them.
