About 40K. If you can find one, as they weren't released in Australia and seem to be the rarest of the series in this country. I've seen about 5 advertised in 5 years.

Have to admit, the Evo 3 is my favourite, and i just heard tonight ( while showing my friend a heap of Evo photos) he picked it too.. which amazed me, seeing he's nissan through and through
You're missing the point completely. Just because a few Evo4s are dropping below 40K DOES NOT mean that 3s are. Their rarity is keeping the price at around that 40K mark if you can find one. Go and try and find a genuine 3.
Evo4s in particular are dime a dozen - they're everywhere relatively speaking, thus the fairly cheap prices.
btw, there's a red Evo1 for sale in Melbourne for $19,000.
