yo sonic,

can you post pics of yours or your mates mirage with 4agze superchrger whenever possible.

Im quite puzzled though how\where sc will be located in the engine. What with air intake to tb, how do you get the sc to also direct air into tb?

He has mounted it at the complete opposite end to what you think!!

yeahh be interested if your mate dynos his little beast. just want to see if he could at least get close to 100kw at wheels on stock boost (10psi?) on those 4agze sc.

You did mention your mates was Sohc 4g15, wonder on the DOHCS if this figure atw is realistic.

Anyways, have fun and do post pics when and if you can.

cheers mate!

Sonic,Phreak anyone?

What type of leads do you use for 4g15 DOHC? need to change this on mine, REpco suggested importing???

Surely there is a local type from any Mitsu in oz that can be use as a replacement..

Plug leads? I just use the standard ones.......Im sure you could upgrade to some 8mm leads if you wanted. No need to import just buy any to fit a 1.5.

Dohc spark plug leads looks completely differrent, sure about this sonic? where the sohc leads were slim and shallow, my current ones are deep and chunky to reach the spark plugs burried quiet deep at the rocker cover.

Mitsiman can you advise on this please?

You should use the proper ones for the DOHC but in a pinch you can use the stock SOHC ones with no troubles

Thanks Miragehatchvrx,

But id rather buy new for peace of mind when it comes to ignition leads...

You never know what condition second hand are since visual inspection of my leads tells me nothing is wrong but had the car tune up lately and been told that cylinder 2 lead had some problem (cant remember the term mechanic referred to it) but ive had to make do with it by tightening leads with electrical tape.

So once again, anyone else there who has the same engine 4g15 DOHC, can you please help with what type\model ignition leads I require since this is not a known model engine at local repco and autobarn shops in melbourne.

As mitsiman also mentioned, at a pinch I may be able to use the SOHC leads but would rather not since the Sohc leads dont cover all of the hole for the spark plugs on rocker cover. I am worried water\condensation may accumulate.

i like the sound of that dave as it will be alot easier to just source the gear from you as it was you who did the conversion for me in the first place

Thanks Mitsiman,

I am located at melbourne so if I can source the ignition leads from you, I may as well time this with getting extractors from you as well to hopefully save on postal costs.

Just out of curiosity, are they available yet? just been regularly checking your website (RPW) and I cant seem to find the item (extractors for 4g15 Dohc) yet on your site.

Anyways, Ill just drop an email to you in the next few weeks.
