I spoke to this guy who has a FTO (he is 18) and Ralliart in QLD want to put on a Twin Turbo and make it one of the first FTO's to have a Twin Turbo. Does anyone know of this being done before?

Twin Turbo FTO.........which engine does it have, it would be very unlikely that they would turbo the MIVEC engine

 

Yes it has got the Mivec engine (revs to 9000). They want to make it the first ever. Lucky bastard.

Theres actualy a few twin turbed fto's mostly in japan,
the fastest i heard dose 10 secs quater mile but i doubt it was MIVEC

 

Is that Mearsy (The White One)? He's talkin ****! Have u seen under the bonnet of those things? There barely room for 1 turbo, letalone a twin setup with an intercooler.
He couldn't afford it anyways.. and why would they pick HIS all the way up here? U'd think they'd be more inclined to but there own as a project car!

 

Yeah, it was him. When I was doing work experience at AutObarn, he came in wanting a stereo system and neons and he was going on that Ralliart in Brisbane area where going to be puting on a Twin Turbo onto his FTO.

It maybe the 1st TT FTO but FWD and big boost spells danger IMO. An FTO running a GT25 on 1bar boost is still bearable, seen it done many times.
