Question Lancer wheel size?

Just wanted to know what size wheels lancers came out in the CE model. My MR came with 14inch standard. Did any come out with 15inch standard or as a option?

Don't think so.. my VRX should have the same as yours 14" 185/65. When I was researching legal wheels size they told me that was the biggest option (in 2000). Dunno if they were just dribblin.

Nah dude 14/185/65. In Queensland the largest you can legally go is 17x6.5 (which is very hard to find so go 16x6.5). Make sure the tires are load rated too cause I had that problem. .Dunno bout NSW

What is this about 17 x 6.5 being the largest you can go in Queensland? Why?

According to the transport department you are allowed a 1" increase in rim width and a 16mm increase in the rolling diameter of the tyre. 17/45 is a 17mm increase therefore no good, and I had trouble finding a 17/40 tyre that was load rated to the car. It is unlikely to be detected, but for insurance purposes only, if they decide to go over the crashed vehicle with a fine comb... affraid your in a spot of trouble - the vehicle would not pass a roadworthy on the wheels alone.
