Don't forget to ask that we all work a corner together. BMW is cool about letting you pick. That way we can all chat. And lets spready out so we can ride together also
Peolpe can ride with Jeremy a few times in my car if they want I call at least 4 rides since we are co-driving

It's going to be crazy hot tomorrow. Anyone have a canopy we can set up under the trees?? I'm going to bring my lunch as always and will bring two fold out chairs. I'm sure most people will head up the street to eat lunch in the AC. I'm going to tough it out in the heat.
Yeah man I'll have to hit up the Subway since my fridge went out a couple days ago (compressor relay=fixed now...but food is DONE).
My parents had a spare EZ Up, but it got destroyed in the hail storm. You know what would be really awesome? One of those stand-up misters! Just post it up in our corner and chill.

awesome awesome time today. The NTEC crew did really well today. Thanks again to Jeremy for the coaching. I think I've finally got a good handle on how it all works.
Chris you did awesome I can't believe you got those times on those tires.
Good to meet you brian. Hope to see you out there more. I hope your girl liked it too.

Yeah, I was just thinking the same thing Justin. Today was probably the most fun I've had in that car yet. Your car is like night and day difference on those RS-3's. I liked watching your car out there. You are pushing WAY harder than before, and the times certainly prove that.
Of course, my fastest run (with a cone
) was with Jeremy in the car, so a big thanks to him from me as well. Using his tips, I put a 53.4 down later that day - an entire second faster than my best morning run, where I thought I had reached my performance ceiling. It's all about standing on the brakes.
Oh and Brian, way to cut your time down man! Get some new tires to match your car's power and you'll rip out there dude.
Not sure what the results are yet, but I don't really care. I had a great time.

My best time was a 51.726. Not awesome but I got the Y class 4th place trophy so I'm happy.
Justin, thanks for letting me drive your car. It felt very good and drove great. You really don't need to do much to it other than maybe some fatter tires and an E85 tune. Keep up the good work and you'll be faster than me. You were only 0.407 seconds off my best time.
Chris, you are definitely getting the hang of it as well. Like Justin said, get some good tires and you should see some great benefits.
Bryan, nice meeting you. Nice improvement over your morning times! I hope to see you on some more events. With the power your car has, once you get it figured out and gain confidence in the car, you can be very fast.
Talk to you all again soon!

Thanks for the words and evetrything y'all. You guys really looked amazing out there. I think me and Chris need some better tires for sure, though. lol
I was 3.9 seconds off Jeremy's best time. lol I think that's pretty good for Auto-xing an Evo for the first time. And thanks a lot for the advice Jeremy, went from a 68 second run to a 55 second run.
Thanks to Kevin for tuning my car the night before and making it one scary car to drive, everytime I floored it comming out of a turn, felt like I lost all grip. lol
Great time though, enjoied it. lol I'll def. be out there more.

It was great seeing so many new drivers out there this weekend. I hope that despite the heat everyone had a good time. There are tons of clubs in the area with events going on all the time whether it is an autocross or a more high speed Texas Time Trial or PCA Time Trial. Be sure to check www.DFWautocross.com to see everything going on.
Here was my 50.6

I hope to see more new people at other area events.

You are welcome. I'm glad I was able to show you some pointers that helped. That is a huge improvement and you were definitely doing much better in the secomd half of the day. Hope you do keep coming out because it's always more fun with more Evos.
