He's already got a list going. He's doing prokit and tint and this Sunday he's picking up a single exit cat back from Steven from NTEC, and he's getting UICP and a high flow cat and getting a tune at EvoD. He's just putting the 1000k miles on it first not that it makes any difference. He'll end up doing full boltons. I tried to get him to do suspension first but he wants to go fast just like the rest of us.

I cannot wait to see him do his first autocross...I think it will be at that point he is amazed about the Evo... If he wants to have fun though, stay in STU for a while, he can be relatively competitive there. I wish I would have hung out there but by the time I started I was already BSP like you.

I told him about that but since he only does bmw and ntaxs he's not too worried about the SCCA PCA classes

Good job! I totally agree SCCA for your competitive side, NTAXS and BMW for your fun time!

Getting excited, less than two weeks out! Just need to check pads, swap/rotate tires, change oil, and get a LICP on... and it's on!

Hmm, the forecast for next weekend is currently showing 60% chance of precip:

Might make for an interesting experience...

I checked with Maggie, and she said that this is rain or shine. Anybody ever really test the limits of NT05's in the wet?

I drove my Star Specs in the rain at MSR once. It was quite an adventure. But everybody says that track is like an ice skating rink when it is wet. I'm looking forward to Eagles Canyon in the wet. It is helpful because you have to be much more precise and smooth with your inputs to the vehicle.

*Edit: I ran at Eagles Canyon in the damp fog during the last NASA event on my Hankook RS3's. Pretty much killed every car out there. Haha. That is unfair to say because they were all on Hoosiers and none of them were able to get their tires up to temp.

Good lord... I want to go to autocross if clear skies and ECR if raining... I guess I will have to just sign up for both!
