Texas Motor Speedway Bus Lot
$40/driver entry fee.
Pre-register at http://www.dlbracing.com/ starting April 27th.
No on-site registration.
The event is limited to 65 drivers.

You get eight runs at NTAXS events, so you will make four runs in the AM session and four runs in the PM session, with a lunch break in between.

8 AM – 9 AM Check-in, Registration, and mandatory Tech Inspection
(You must arrive in time to check in and pass tech inspection prior to 9 AM)
8:15 AM – 9:30 AM Course open for walking
9:15 AM Novice Meeting (mandatory if new to NTAXS events)
9:30 AM Drivers Meeting (mandatory for all)
9:45 AM First car out

I'm looking forward to this. So are my tires, the last four event surfaces have been rough on them.

 

J Ault, are you on street tires for this one? You're in class 2, which btw, looks very competitive!

 

I was going to get some rs-3s so I could go head to head against and beat Ken. But that didn't happen.

So 2r it is. We'll be changing classes. Maybe next time. I would like the competition of such a huge class.

The car really is so fast now I'm banking on an ftd this weekend.

"Fastest Time of Day" Autocross run at NTAXS on 5-11-12 in a Street Modified Evolution VIII. Raw time was 52.074 which was faster than the next fastest driver (Ken O) in a prepared M3 by 1.09 seconds. Unfortunately, a cone bump somewhere in the back slalom, which does not show in the video, resulted in a 2 second penalty and a second place trophy. Off the lead by 0.904 seconds.
