considering turbo questions....

I have just a few questions about it.

I currently have a Apex Turbo back Exhaust, and intake, and a MBC.

now I am currently looking at the (I could be wrong) the GT3071R, the same one you used on the time attack at Talledega.

anyways my questions are:

1. If I bolt up this turbo to my stock motor, am I going to have problems with reliability adding that much power?

I mean, is it neccessary to for that kit to add go the route of new timing belts, head gaskets, all that stuff?

I wil be putting in head studs, a new clutch and probably either an AFC or a utec.
also a wideband too.

Is there anything else I am going to need to be running conservative 19psi, with pump 91 gas?

like I said those other things will probably be done in the future, just not right now If I get the GT3071R kit now.

any info? or ideas thanks

motor work is not necessary and other then waht you listed the only thing I can think of that you would need is injectors. thats a great kit for the track. It had alot of power, enough to have Jon smack me around in the turns.

The setup in Talladega rocked, I got to drive it a little, and the thing was just on-point all the time.

Wouldn't a fuel pump be a good idea too?

I was wondering if sombody were to do the alcohol kit would you have to do injectors? Just wonering what the limits of the stock fuel system with the alky kit would be.
