i'd love to go, never been to an actual track before (just the drag strip so far) so it would be awesome if some instructors could come also.

 

Ok, it seems we have some good feedback. That's the good news, the bad news is we are spread all over. Ok, no worries, why try to accomplish this with one event, when you can have two?

If you are sincerely interested, send me you location, and I will try to pick tracks central to people in the north, and south. Once I get locations down, then we will worry about dates.

Hey, where do you go to get your Evo aligned? I never realized until last week that I have way too much toe-in in the front. I need a reputable (read: race proven) shop in the Chicago area that can dial in my car.

let's go to gingerman during the week it's only 60 bucks. i'm going this weekend 6/20 and 7/4 for honda meets. an evo meet would be great. when i'm there i find out if i can set up an evo meet. the track rock's and it's close to chicago about two hours. let's try for august.

I will make the calls next week. I am on the road with work, so I should have time, being that I drive most places. So I will get the numbers of the proposed tracks, and let you guys know. Also, I am going to hold one down at Roebling too. Seat-time has a great program, and with Jon being the steward and an Evo guru, we can all get some great feed-back.

IMHO, if you've never been on a track, Road America is probably not the best of choices. It is also not a great track to really show what the Evo is capable of.

Actually, RA is not a very technical track. It is a very fast track that will push your brake to the limit. I think our Evo very capable of running at this track. I have no problem running with the big boy at this track.
