Chris, the owner of the Black 903hp Evo lives in Pensacola Florida, so yes they mean the car will be going back home.....to Florida.

The infamous Curt Brown that drives a stock turboed EVO to a 10.9, Allen who runs sub 10.50's, or John that runs 10.0's.

I love you're videos, but I like the track much more again good luck.
Not just impounding it, some states will crush your car!

ha.. yeah, from a dig on the street I dont think anyone in their right mind would try an race you.. I would assume your next project will be upgrading the driveline.

I would probably have alot less runs if I were strict about going from a dig.

dude i'm with you here, drag racing is fun and all but to get that car to perform down the strip is gonna be $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and headache. with that much power the driveline wont be able to take it and you'll need axels, mounts, crazy *** tranny, t-case, at least 4 radials. then you risk crashing as the damn thing spins through god knows how many gears and breaking sh*t that was already expensive. Racing from a roll is KING because like you said it takes out driver error and shows whose car is faster. Yea 1/4 racing is awesome but once u get to a point the evo is just too much financially if it keeps breaking.

Perfect example: I broke my car with 380whp more times then you did with 600whp. but i was always drag racing from a dead stop and launching constantly

The older you get and the more children you have the more street racing becomes a liability and risk that is too great to take. That is the whole point with drag racing. You can settle grudges, have fun, just watch if you want, in a controlled enviroment and even playing field. Maybe one day they will have a roll racing type of even who knows, but I would hate too see a accident happen because of high speed roll racing instead of taking it to the track.

I agree with you that EVO's do break alot of drivetrain parts AWD is a double edged sword in that respect no doubt about it.

I am sure the controller is turned all the way up... Martin stated to me that it hardly made any difference due to fact that its a small amount compared to the fuel and air the motor is injesting..... I remember on one of the lower HP runs that night (860ish) that Martin stated the injector duty cycle was over 80%... thats a LOT of fuel coming out of 4 1600cc injectors..
