spark plugs
check the bottom of your hood, on most cars it usually says the gap and original plug number and brand. When I used to work at Pepboys, this was my last resort if there wasn't a plug or gap listed in the computer. And yes, NGK's usually come pre-gapped, but I would check the gap anyways, once you research it. You never know what bumbling idiot might have dropped your plugs on their end before you purchased them. If I dropped a plug, I would re-gap it or send it back as a defect it if it was really bad, but most parts people aren't that nice.
