hey i was woundering if the ams upper intercooler pipe fits the evo 9 mr??? and if it does any fitment issues?? any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yep it fits like a glove with no problems. You will also need the small battery kit as well.

 

how much,and do you have a licp for a IX?

 

while we are on this subject... if i have the buschur front mount... will the UICP fit the ix ?

 

The upper and lower that we offer for the VIII will fit on the IX as well.

Upper is $459.00 with a TiAL bov
Lower is $195 for EVO M members

im not sure how the buschur FMIC is setup. if his IC bolts to the stock piping it should bolt to ours no problem. I have not actually checked in person though

and if so, if i want to change my greddy bov to the stock jdm mr bov, would it be possible?

and finally, will my braille mini battery fit with the ams uicp?

i'll answer that one... yes no and yes.... if you have a welded flange for a greddy valve, you wont be able to just put your stock valve on... if that is what you want, just have a universal flange welded on

 

Exactly. That is how I had them setup mine. Just tell them to make it look like the stock UICP. That way you can switch to whatever you want.

What kind of gains can we expect from an Upper IC Pipe on a IX? For example, for my setup with exhaust and tune?

 

Very minor gains if any from the UICP. It's mostly bling. Only reason I have one is because the stock UICP hose blew off the throttle body a couple of times...

A friendly suggestion from a good customer here:

I recently purchased a LICP from Buschur. I was aiming to buy a AMS LICP for my Evo 9 since I already have a LICP from your guys on my Evo 8 as well and love it.

I went to your website and it only shows the Evo 8 LICP and the prices shows $225.

I understand you guys are offering a special price for Evo M members but you don't have it on your website and I found the $195 promotion by rebound on this topic(until I read this topic I thought the LICP were $225).

Botton line, without a doubt I would have buy a LICP for the Evo 9 for that price unfortunately your website neither specify the special promotion nor the fittment of the Evo 8 to the Evo 9 LICP. With the issue of the turbo outlet on the Evo 9 I wasn't sure if it would fit.

I really wish I knew this before....

As I said before, I did not get the LICP for the Evo 9 this time but I will continue to give great feedback on your LICP since I still use one on my Evo 8.
