Narrowing down exhaust...

OK, So I have narrowed down my exhaust choices for my IX MR to: JUN BL w/ Testpipe for 499, or an AMS TB w/Testpipe for 949. I searched and found a review on the JUN BL. Its supposedly the same just not as loud when WOT. Is there a power increase difference between the exhausts. Both look like powerfull, 3in exhausts and I am stuck between which one I want. I like how loud the AMS is at WOT but I am afraid I may regret it in the long run when I get sick of it. But idk let me know what you guys think THANKXX!

a 3inch exhaust is a 3incher....probably marginal gains between the two, none that you would feel. I have the AMS one. When it was on the car before i did all the mods to it, It wasnt as loud as you think. It had a great idle sound and was smooth as hell on WOT.

Both are good. I preferred the JunBL mostly due to price.

I probably own the loudest evo exhaust known to man. I have a JIC which if your familiar with their exhaust you'll see that it's a full 3 inch all the way back with no resonator's at all. It is also one of the striaghtest evo exhaust's out ther with one minor 15 degree bend and the rest is straight back. I live in an area where the cops are very bad and will pull you over just b/c their bored. I thought my exhaust was loud as hell when I first got in but then I soon realized it is not loud at all. On the highway it sound slike stock. The Jun BL seems like a nice exhaust but I really don't like the way the system is designed, it looks pretty ugly IMO. The AMS exhaust is nice but the only problem is that no other companies exhaust components will work with their exhaust.
Plus it's a bit pricey...

Last I knew, the Jun BL was just catback. When comparing a catback to a turboback, the turboback is almost always louder. Throw in a test pipe and downpipe and you have a fair comparison. (Both in noise level and price)

Will you be buying a downpipe separately?

Make sure you get a real 3" inner diameter exhaust. A lot of companties advertise 3" but it is less and also some of them neck down in some places. Do the research first and I am sure you will make the right decision.
