Question INFO NEEDED: Surface area of AMS intercooler...

Can someone give me the surface are of the regular AMS intercooler? I need this info for powdercoating. Thanks.

The bar and plate style core is 12.4" tall, 20" wide (28" with endtanks) and 3.625 " thick with over 1250 cfm flow at 1 psi pressure loss
You do the math...

Its not quite that easy when you take in to account the ungulating fins, there is a lot more surface area there then the sum of the outer surfaces. Remember this will be powdercoated so it will get in there.

Well good luck figuring that out...why is it so important to know? If it's the powdercoating shop they should only need the outside dimensions for a quote.
