Tuning on 2wheel dyno

If it is a load bearing dyno, and you setup the car to run just fwd, would this work to tune the car or would their be a big difference when the car had the normal transfer case back in the car?

The tune should be fine, but you would lose power when reconnecting the driveshaft. A few tuners use to do this before they had an awd dyno.
