This is directed to AMS. Are there any other Identifing markings on your intercoolers other than the black AMS on the front? I have one that I maybe getting but it doesnt have the AMS on the front, but I was told that it was definatly one of yours. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

 

there were some without the ams logo. I believe theye started putting the logo on after the fradulent ones started poping up on ebay...

 

Look to see if the brackets are welded on(AMS, or if there are 2 screw holes per bracket, and the brackets get screwed on(ebay) Wouldn't want someone to spend 400ish or so on a used intercooler and get an ebay one.

 

All of our endtank seams are welds and all the brackets are welded on. Thats the biggest indicator of our core.

Ok, they are all welded. I have three brackets. One on the very top center, one on each side lower rear section. Single bolt holes on each bracket.

 

sounds like ours. see if the end tank outlet and inlets are welded to the end tanks.

Yes the end tanks and the outlet/inlet are tig welded, look nicely done as well.
