AMS GT35R down pipe

I was wondering if anybody can shed some light here
maybe AMS gurus????.

I have ordered a AMS GT35r turbo which should be here in a couple of weeks!

now the prob i have is that i read on The AMS website that they use a 3 bolt flange.

I have a 3" Ultimate racing test pipe and a Greddy Titanium Catback to the back.

I dont wanna butcher my Pipe etc..
Anybody know if they will bolt up

Thanks in advance

nope, thats the same setup im running.

You'll need to either weld on a 2-bolt flange to the downpipe, or a 3-bolt flange to the test pipe.

just use your test pipe and have a three bolt flange welded to one side and you'll be good to go... by the way your going to love the GT35R, I just got tuned today for mine and I still have a smile on my face

Yes stock bottom. I made 515hp and 432tq at 32psi on 100oct. But I'll be driving around at 28psi when ever I run 100oct. that's around 480-490hp. On 93oct. and at 22psi the car made 424hp and 336tq if I remember correctly. I have Sean Ivey to thank for the tune. I highly recomend him.

If you compare the 35 to the stock turbo yes it has lag. But the power it makes out weighs the negatives in my opinion. One thing for you to know since you have a Greedy titanium it's going to be loud as hell. I have the Magnaflow titanium and it's extremely loud.

I don't think my kit has been shipped yet

Yeah the neighbors are in for a treat, god knows mine must hate me when I go to work at 5:30am. You could do that and have them weld the flage on the dp or you can just take the test pipe to a muffler shop and they can weld the flange, either way it will work. You should be excited, your car is going to be a beast as long as the tune is good.

the 35R is a great turbo...has some lag but not what everyone talks about...i put down 418awhp on 21-22 psi with a stock slipping clutch!

i had to do the same thing to my exhaust..i had AMS DP with RSR catback and had a gap(test pipe area) so i had to buy a test pipe and put a flange on the test pipe to bolt up to the DP..not a big deal really..

anyways let us know your numbers after tuning..

im tuned for 21-22 on 92 and 28psi on 117...wanted to keep it a conservative tune being its my daily driver

The Downpipe that comes with our turbo kit is designed to bolt up to our exhuast system. We cannot just weld on a two bolt flange because we cannot guarantee fitament.

I am sorry but you will have to either modify your test pipe or your downpipe to make this work.

or you can go ahead and buy the rest of the AMS exhaust system

I call dibs on the Greddy Ti if you do sell it.
