What torque spects for AMS 2.3 ?

I need the torque specs for an AMS 2.3 stroker kit. Mainly the rod bolts & crank bearing nuts. Are these the same as the stock torque specs which I already have or are they specific to this kit?

Dude, you're tearing down the motor? Hope all is well with it. Better than the cams.

Hey Shunderwunder,

The rod bolts get torqued to 45 ft. pounds and the main studs get 60 ft. pounds. Make sure to torque the main studs in sequence. Please let me know if you need further information.

Yes I did & everything looks fine on the bottom end, so the short block is good. I just wanted to make sure there wasnt something in the oil that caused the same issues elsewhere.

Thanx a ton. I didn't think they were the same as stock.
