Lower tie bar and AMS tbe

Any insight on which aftermarket lower tie bars fit with the AMS downpipe with no rubbing/rattling issues? Is RMR the only option? I've done a search and found old threads.. not sure if there was anything new out there.. and no, I do not want to use spacers/washers.

If RMR is the only option - suggestions on where to buy?

You can use the stock lower tie bars by utilizing a couple of stainless steel washers as spacers. I have been running this setup for 2+ years without any issues.

Thanks, but as I mentioned, I really don't want to use spacers (or flatten/bend the bar with a hammer).

I did initially try spacers, but it takes quite a bit of spacing to get the stock bar in there comfortably.. and I still received vibration.

I'd like to upgrade the bar. I wouldn't mind the upgrade..

Thanks

Besides the obvious solving of fitment issues with the DP, did you notice any performance differences with the RMR bar? Any pics?

Where did you purchase it?

I used to run the stock with spacers and knew it took the tension point further out, so i got the beatrush bar and still had some points where it would vibrate, so I used fewer spacers, but again taking the point away from where it should be. Then I man'd up and heated the stock bars, bent them around my vice, kept their form, and they now function as they should. Cost 0$ vs 100+ for an aftermarket one that you take a chance on working or not.

I dont think I push the car hard enough to notice any performance differences....but I know it does what its designed to do. I think i purchased the bar from RMR directly, or thru lancershop.com I forgot which.

My Carbing 6-point lower arm bar fits with my Buschur downpipe. I'm sure someone else can chime in with how the AMS fits compared to the Buschur. For comparison, my Buschur dp would sometimes rub on the stock bars even with spacers.

It clears my friend's 3" eBay downpipe too.

Interesting.. looks like a nice piece

Anyone have any insight on AMS DP fit vs. Buschur DP? I was under the impression that the AMS DP sits lower than most
