Finally back in the game!

After five years I have picked up another evo. I owned a 30R STi in 2004 and then picked up an evo 8 in 2008 and did some basic bolt ons.

I know own a 2012 evo X and want to begin the upgrading process. My thoughts on first steps are:

AMS CAI (new model)
AMS TBE w test pipe
AMS UICP

I assume this is a fairly common set of first upgrades. Do you have any dyno graphs of stock vs this arrangement? I understand that the factory tunes have been progressively improved over the years, so if you have a more recent stock dyno that would be great.

Could you also PM me the installation price including a baseline dyno and dyno tuning post installation?

Thanks,

The best package that I can recommend for your car is our STX400 package seen here:

I can definitely shoot you a price installed right away

Thanks for the quick response Andrew. That caught my eye while on your website. I plan to do further mods down the road. Does the Cobb AP continue to be a benefit as more mods are added or is it useful only for this prepackaged stage? Also, does the AP accept add'l maps - is it possible for an E85 map and a 93 map?

Thanks again!

The Cobb AccessPort is a great tuning solution for the Evo X and can store multiple maps. You can definitely use it in the future if additional mods are added. We are a Cobb pro tuner so we are more than capable of custom tuning it on the dyno for you if needed.

I agree with Andrew on this, a lot of people don't like the cobb ap, but I have never had an issue with mine and recommend it.
