i have this connector hangin in my trunk. I read that its for a the factory bass

so my question is that connector connected to sound system even with out the amp ? or do the wires useless

 

i have this same connector in my trunk, i do have a system in my car, but what i did is i looked for a remote turn on in the connector for my amp..... u need to install an aftermarket system, u could only use the connector for a remote turn on, and also u can also buy the rockford sub , ebay has it, but the money u going to put out u might as well buy something bigger than that

 

From what I know of the lancers is that just about everything is plug and play. All the wires are there for everything and connected. they are just missing the main piece. for example the amp.
