Only had my evo for a short period of time, only had 2700 miles on it, I check the dipstick and it was on the Low mark, so I put oil on it, Mobil 1 5W30 Synthetic. I know that it came with 10W30, I'am moving to a colder weather so i will be changing the oil to 5W30.

not a problem....I actually just changed to 10W bc it is getting colder. As long as it is synthetic...your ok! hell actually the 15W is made for turbo cars, but a little too thick for mine and prob the Evos taste. happy tuning!!

yeah there is no need to mix them, but to add a little just to get buy for a 1000 or so miles is fine. but with 2700 miles just go ahead and do the oil change anyways. Feel free to ask more ?s anytime man.
