Boost Solutions Obviously Knows What They Are Doing

I'm very very happy on the turnout at Commerce on the 19th for a number of reasons. The first reason is that there were about 15 Evos that showed up. I finally got to meet most of you and had a lot of fun conversating. There were a couple of people that I wanted to meet, but they didn't show up. If you weren't there, you missed all the fun.
In case you haven't heard it was very hot on Sat. The track temp reached over 120degrees farenheit. You would have thought that everyone would be running slow times considering the weather and the rumor that Commerce is slow to begin with. I guess most people were running slow because I saw a lot of unhappy faces and early departures.
I happen to know two cars that were running very well contrary to popular belief. That was Doug and I , the Boost Solutions Daddys I ran about five times and had some decent times. My best was 12.35 at 113mph with crappy driving skills. I kept blowing it so 5 was enough for me. In one of my runs my 1/8th time was 7.8 at 93mph, but then I missed 4th gear and f***ed up a very low 12 run. Oh well, Doug made up for it with his mad skills. He ran a 12.2something at 115mph. George has all the slips and will post them soon.
Boost Solutions's cars were the fastest EVOs that day just for the record.
No more doubting George or Doug. The proof was at the track. If you didn't go call your buddies. They were there.
Ryan, when you talked all that smack to Doug and I about who had the fastest Stock turbo EVO and you were claiming the title, you were wrong. If Boost Solutions couldn't tune, why do we have the fastest EVOs? We were running conservative race maps too. WE ran 11.2 A/F-rich with 15 degrees timing-safe. Our car will run 11s if we push them. You said to Doug that his car would blow up on the way down the track. We all drove home that day. I guess your 12.9 is ancient history. Better luck next time. No excuses either. You challenged us and you lost so deal with it quietly. Internet talk or not, chose your words wisely please. I'm not trying to insult you, I promise. I guess you need to go back to the Vishnu lab and get the mad scientist to stir you up a new formula. EMS or broke baby! I still love you though and still can't wait to meet. Doug said that your kinda funny and not that bad. I said that's nice, but I really don't appreciate talking crap about the military considering the fact that we spend years away from our families to protect folks like you. Good Luck
Snoop, thanks a million for letting Doug and I use your helmet. I really do appreciate that. If I had the cash I'd take that off your hands, but not right now.
George, People saw what's up. You shouldn't have never been doubted.
Doug, BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH HH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's now plan a trip to the Silver Dollar so we can see 11s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No excuses from me, I know I wasnt fast or would be fast, but let’s not forget the big intercoolers you guys are running too (two of the cars). Those were far more efficient than the stock ones at those temps. Other evo's there had similar 1/8 mile times but not the 1/4 mile. The heat and the humidity were killing everyone else. You guys also had the most mods there compared to everyone else.

And as far as Ryan goes, something came up and he could not make it, so let’s not start the BS about that.

No, George did not run his car due to turbo problems.

Goerge did not run his Evo as the turbo locked up or something Thursday night as I saw it at his shop. We ( The boost Solutions) crew did have the fastest cars. I believe I had the fastest stock cams Evo as well, untuned, with george not even wanting me to run, and come to find out hte hard way on the way home about ignition coil problems as well(burned up). I managed a 13.2 while missing 2nd gear with a 1.9 60'. I didnt make another pass, but feel 13 flat or 12.9 was possible. I think this is Ryan's highest to date. I also didnt have a monster intercooler on this very HOT and HUMID day. I am not making excuses as I am happy with my runs. Cant wait for me and George to retune it and see what Happens. Thanks to all the Evo community who showed up. It was a blast again and hope to see all soon. Happy Tuning!!!

Similiar would be close to 7.8sec at 93mph. I don't believe anyone came close. I'm not trying to be cocky, but please prove me wrong by posting slips. Again, George will post the slips from our runs bu tommorrow. Thanks

I forgot to add that Doug ran that 12.2 with a slipping clutch. His clutch is done.

I made a 13.1 pass with a bad 2.2 60ft time, and I think that my clutch is toast. I never was able to make a better 60 ft than my 1.9. Also Ryan had a death in the family so lay off because he was not their.

Todd, I dont think you are talking to me, but Ive liked Ryan from Day 1 and he knows this . He is the one that actually sent me to Boost Solutions. Ive helped hin in the past with parts too. I didnt know of the death in the family, and actually REALLY wanted to see Ryan, what a funny cat!! ANyways, glad to see you ran a 13.1. We had the same 60 ft times of 1.9, which I isnt that bad with conditions all though a 1.7 or under would be a lot better. My car needs tuned, new tires wouldnt hurt(13000 on stock ones), and I should be in the 12's at commerce with no cams. I never drag race anyhow, so no bragging from me. HELL, nothing to brag about. Hope to see all real soon. Anybody know of an event coming up that we could get at least 15 evos again too? Take care and Happy Tuning!!

Matt

Congrats to Boost Solutions and to Doug and Matt for the best times of the day. The aem definately helped you guys since I had the pretty much the same mods but with flashed stock ecu. My best time was 12.4 at 113 on stock clutch. I don't want to get caught up in the smack talk in the Atl evo crew, I will just let the numbers do the talking.

I am honestly sorry to hear about Ryan's situation. I hope everything is OK. If you don't understand the smacktalk than refer to all the past post that people talked smack to us. That smacktalk motivated Doug and I to get where we are at now. It's just for fun like Ryan said to Doug at Boost Solutions. It is not intended to be taken personal in the least. I did have fun at the track and appreciate the congrats, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to put my too sense in considering what's already been said. BS Solutions right? No, I don't think so. Ryno, good job at the track. I forgot to post your times too. If you don't like what I say then don't reply. I'm just playing the game that's been played long before me on this forum. Later.

120 degree track temperature was killing everybody. Also, Matt has the Greddy V SPL intercooler, that is barely any better than stock.
Also, both silver Evos were retuned to 11.2-11.3 air fuel ratio because of the heat.
Also, Matt never launched his car the way he should because of his transfercase making noise...

AMS has an intercooler similiar to Matt's and they have seen 20WHP gain with IC and I do think with 120 degree track temp that it helped. I was impressed with power of your car and matt's but remember no evo with stock intercooler ran in 12s with heat on Saturday. Conngrats to all evo's in 12s since the track is slow. On faster track like Silver Dollar 11s is very realistic with less heat.
