Thanks to Boost Solutions!!!
I really love my car
After last night tuning by Dr. Doug my car flies and it is so smooth, it looks like stock but the throttle response is unbelievable...
Thank you guys for your great work and passion about our Evos

I heard that last night you were giving out rides in your SMOOTH driving Evo. I'm glad you are happy. Hopefully soon we can arrange another track day and you can run. Have fun.

12.924 at Commerce

Finally I got my slip scanned so I can post it, I was running on the right lane.
My best run Friday was a 12.924, not bad for my second run of my life (never been on drag strip before), but I think that my car and I can do better that this.
Do you have any comments or suggestion so I can improve?
Thank you for your feedback!!!
BTW I still love my car...It is so fun to drive...

Very good for your second time. I drag all the time and get better every time. It's just the matter of doing it over and over. Practice makes perfection. Have fun with it and congrats.

reaction time- nothing to worry about as it doesn't effect your time. Time starts when you cross the line.

I have done a lot to my car:

ATS double disc carbon clutch
Tein Flex with EDFC
HKS hi POwer exhaust
HKS Blow off Valve
HKS suction Kit
HKS EVC boost controller
HKS cam 264/264
Tomei Cam gears
New injectors
Walbro fuel pump
ARC intercooler
AMS EMS

I think I should do better but I also need more practice.
Another question is about shift point.
When do you change gear?
I was shifting at 7k rpm, in another run I was shifting at 7.5k and the car seemed to be faster (unfortunately I missed 4th gear twice...)
Maybe the 272/264 combo should be better for drag racing, since on the road nobody beat me yet...
Or maybe it is time for me to start a new diet....

Hell fire, your times are hella better than mine. I have about the same mods you have and a tune by Doug as well...... Of course, my clutch is fried and that could explain the sh!tty ETs, and perhaps also the low TS. The trap speed is a very good indicator of HP. It would seem that based on your trap speed your power is in the 240-250 whp. I would think that cars with our mods should be putting out close to 300 whp on the DD dyno...... Have you had your car dynoed yet? Also, were you using the launch control?

I never Dynoed the car and I am using launch control.
I also think that has a lot to do with shifting at the right rpm, I am a quick shifter and I noticed that my last run when I shifted higher my car was faster.
The car feels powerful enough and kicks almost like a Porsche Turbo so I think that all the fault is mine.
