Gasonline in Vancouver, BC
Hello,
I was wondering about the gasoline in Vancouver, BC. Do they sell premium unleaded of at least 91 octane using the (R+M)/2 method? I would prefer 92 or 93 octane but 91 is the minimum.
Thanks!

. There is 94 available at Chevron and Petrocan. Chevron is preferable in my mind.
Outside the Greater Vancouver area, 94 is usually not available, though there are some exceptions.
Interestingly enough, a few years back one of the motorcycle dealers dynoed different premium fuels and Shell 92 made more power than Chevron 94.
This is corroberated by my own driving experience on highly tuned normally aspirated cars. Shell usually feels like it makes more power than Chevron. On a turbo car that is tuned on the edge you probably want to datalog before making a decision between Shell 92 and Chevron 94.
