Yea its too bad you canadians cant buy an evo, but what about wrx or sti's? Are those available at the dealerships?

Well, rather than importing it, why don't you buy one in U.S. and just run american plates in Canada? Johnson's Evo (Ultimate Racing) is still registered in California...

because it's illegal.. unless they have an actual address in the states

You'll have to buy insurance in the U.S., which actually covers all of North America. I still retain my Ontario Licence, and my annual insurance premium for the Evo is about CDN$2000 (full coverage).

i suppose u can run around with US plates, but i dont think it can last long....but then again. i dont think the cops here in montreal are smart enough to realize that its a local dude. and insurance wise, its a risk, but totally doable....

besides...i still find the 7 nicer. but then again, the 7 is pretty much the same as the 8 with different taillights/spoiler and front bumper.
