A credible source (credible?) from Mitsubishi has confirmed the arrival of the Lancer EVO model for 2007-2008 in Canada. A hip car for young performance drivers enthusiasts, the Lancer Evolution is at its 8th generation. Some problems relating to strict Canadian standards have prohibited its arrival since Mitsubishi plants landed in Canada. A radiator directly behind the intercooler below the front bumper is the main source of the problem. Mitsubishi will take advantage of this confirmation by making some necessary changes. Hope that the Evo will keep its luster and trump by then.

By 2007, perhaps the Evo X will arrive.

Hmm....If the front mount in the VIII can't pass Canadian regulations, I don't know how the IX can...
