bringing a evo into canada

so ive been thinking of way to bring a evo in canada, so i had some ideas, couple i thought of and researched and 1 i got from one of my buddies on another msg board

what to know ur guys's input!!

1. apparently if the evo is built no later then march of 2003 u can bring it over, can n e one confirm if this is true???

2. bringing it over and putting dealer plates on it??

3. what do u think about my idea of jus keeping american plates on it? if u know someone w/ a address it shouldnt be hard to get a license down there right?

like my ideas are quite logical ideas....and the 2003 models are going at really good prices now!! like 19-20 grand

1. False, Non of the evos have ever been allowed into Canada. Once they are 15 years old and older they will be allowed.

2. You can put dealer plates on it but if the company that insures the dealer finds out they will most likely drop your policy.

3. You dont need a licence down there I dont think, you just need to have a perminate aderess for the ownership, registration and insurance. You could own a house down there and have it registered to that location.

Regardless Im closing this thread. You can just add this on to the existing Evo thread.
