Hi, I just became a member and picked up a 04 rallyart 2 weeks ago! Man do I love it! I spent so much time at the mits dealer that I am on my 3rd interview for sales there!!! anyway I would love to meet some other lancer drivers and learn about my car and see and appreciate some of yours! Thats funny! well I live in guelph during the week I work in georgetown "until mits cambridge starts my training, reference check today" but I live in paris on the weekend and to see my girl. If cambridge mits works out i will be there full time, In the summer If iam not playing ball in a turny I am in turkey point at the cottage! "its near dover where they have the friday the 13 bike thing" I am just glad to have a sweet car to park in front in front of the cottage! I am also curious on were to get the best priced lancer parts are in ontario. The shipping sucks! I don't have a big budget but I gotta personolise right again not a big budget my girl is pushing for a ring but I will do what I can. Thats a little about me so if anyone is close let me know and I can meet some of you guys, I think I will be in hamilton friday around 8:30 so again if anyone is close maybe I could follow.

Yeah got it! and thanks for the info on th parts too! I will be lookin for there sites and hopefully placing a order! Oh yeah I don't want to hoog the thred concidering I am a noobe but I just got hired at cambridge mitsubishi! First time at sales any advice greatly welcomed!!!

 

Help out customers and they will help you, unfortunatly a lot of dealers in Ontario have been treating customers crappy after the sale, and in turn caused a bad reputation for a lot of dealers. Be there for your customers, if they come in for an oilchange or repair a simple hello and a smile goes a long way.
Keep a good name in the industry
If you are good to customers and industry people, they will be good to you ten fold. (via refferals and such)

^ what he said...and also don't treat customers as a commission check, listen to what they want or need from a car and then show them what will best suit their needs, rather than trying to sell everyone an eclipse GT just for the $$!!

 

Thats is great advice. I don't want to come of as a car salesman thats really important to me and i deffinatly won't compromise my morals or ethics to get a sale either. I am just a guy who has no sales experence who got lucky enugh to be able to sell his favorite brand of car. I wasen't aware that mits dealerships had a bad name. Cambridge Mits were great. The biggest selling point for buying the car "well other then the car" was how well they treated me. They actually told me to go home and think about the deal so I don't act on impulse and they let me drive the car to my familys house and that was in a different town! that sold me on them. Well I am off topic now so I will bring it back. I was wondering on directions so I could figure out where you guys meet so I catch some of you this friday so let me know,
