So I'm close now to getting an evo spoiler (don't bother bashing, I like it). My question is do we need the 3rd brake light in ON & if so, does anyone know a place around K/W (or Toronto if need be) that does custom light enclosure stuff...

basically I'm thinking of mounting the mitsubishi symbol as brake lights in my rear window.

 

u need one, but i never got one (as with others) so far no problems..but recently cops have been gay so i suggest u get one, i got quoted an assrape price of 300+ installed at markham mitsu...shouldnt even cost close to what they quoted me
i recommend u take the 3rd brake light off ur stock spoiler and mount it on the rear as others have done, to how to do that i have no idea, hopefully someone will post a DIY

 

never had any problems with the 3 brake light at the back. no cops say anything about it to me either. I wouldn't mind getting one but i'm just too lazy to find out where and how to get it. so basically you can say I gave up on it until a cop says something to me about that.

 

I gave up on the evo spoiler...it was genuine (actual cf) for $200, but shipping was gonna be $130 plus duties and brokerage (all $ american). I'll leave it for another time. Thanks for the help though.

 

Makes me glad I have an 03 ES.... Suicide light is already in back window, so no problems with the spoiler for me... LOL
