S2000 Antenna for Lancers

FYI, I just called RoadSport Honda in Scarborough, the S2000 antenna is a special order item that they can get within one day of placing the order, and costs $40.03 before taxes.

I'll probably pick one up soon.

holy cow thats a ton of cash for an antenna, you should see if anywhere online is selling them cheaper, or get one off ebay, i think most of them ship to canadaland for like 15 bucks or something...

Heh. Well, I see the winning bids are in the $20-ish range, and they say free shipping within the U.S. I think with the shipping to Canada, and conversion rate, it's not that big of a difference from $46 anymore.

is there any difference other than the look? I find the lancer antenna doesn't pick up radio stations all that well. I imagine since its smaller it would be even wrose, but I could be off my rocker here.

First off, $46 bucks for that antenna is a load of horse ****. There has got to be more Honda dealerships/vendors in Canada. I bought mine for just under $19 from the dealership and that is more than some have paid. Check some of the other jr. car owners out there with that antenna and ask em where they got it. PM I Love Spool, he has the antenna and he lists it as only costing him $30. That's almost a case of beer you'll save.

Well, I only called the one. I don't doubt that some dealers will have it for cheaper. I'll definitely shop around before I buy it.

Picked it up today, ended up being $37 with taxes, almost $10 less than I was quoted, so I'm happy. Doesn't look like a VW anymore.

Sweet! It's no turbo, but it's amazing how much a little $37 mod will change the look and feel of the car. I couldn't help but stare at it everytime I got in or out of my car for like a week.
