Where to get Filter/Engine Oil in Toronto

Where to get Filter/Engine Oil in Toronto

Hi, I'm not sure where to ask this question so I'm asking this here.... anyone here from toronto know where i can get the filter and the 5w20 engine oil, for the beloved 2008 lancer of course... i see some castrol ones at part source and walmart. However they're ... i dunno, castrol, and the rest of them are synthetic.... so i dunno where else i can get it, different/better brand ... so if anyone can give me a hand, it'll be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Walmart usually carries Mobil1 synthetic. That's what I buy.

Filter - you can buy a generic at the parts store (I recommend K&N HP1010 filter), or you can buy them from the dealer (which is what I do).

well the only thing is, i'm not sure if i should be using synthetic... (my car is sitting at 10000+ KM now, so I'm sure i past that part with no synthetic period), I'm just not sure if i should put that in cuz there's so many different theories out there for it...

Don't spend more than $25 for a jug of synthetic oil.

Wait for it to go on sale somewhere are stock up. The regular price is usually $36 but i usually find them on sale for around $19 - $22 on sale somewhere.
Canadian Tire usually has good sales on Castrol Syntec, Penzoil Platinum, QS Synthetic etc..

and i personally think Mobil1 is a rip off. i'd only use it if i had a Porsche or something. (or evo)
