According to Car and Driver, is releasing the evo 7 in canada in january with250 hp...but on the mitsu canada website...276hp 273ft of torque. i want one
i assume that they retooled it with twin side mounted intercoolers or made the front bumper stronger since front mounts are frowned upon on cars in canada. I cant wait for mine!!

 

How old is this Car & Driver you read? There is no chance of Evo 7s coming to Canada because they no longer make them. They are out of production. A new version of the Evo 8 I could see, like an Evo 8.5.

 

agreed with evo dan, i wish the VII was coming here, but if you read through past post in the canadian forum, you would see there is no way. bumper restrictions and other things are the reason.

check it yourself if you dont believe me!
I figure if they still make the old-style VW Beetle(and they do!) why not the last evo?

That Evo VII that Mitsubishi has at their website under "Concept Cars" has been making it's rounds to the auto shows in order to educate peaple about the Lancer Evolution. This shows Mitsubishi is probably thinking about releasing an Evo to Canada at some point in the future, however, it won't be an Evo VII. I'm not saying you're full of it, just don't put too much into what you read from these mags, but keep the news coming because there is bound to be some truth found in all the rumours that are out there.
