Well the season before they moved to Colorado they had a good play-off run....if you remember I think they won the cup there first season in Colorado.....they had a great team.

The MCCC is going international....soon we will be going to meets in Calgary or Halifax.... Ok so maybe we wont be. But how cool would it be if we did.

Its a mid size shopping center with some restaurants like Jack Astors, East Side Marios etc..., but theres alot of eateries like Krispy Kreme and Tim Hortens on the same street. Is there a reason why that particular shopping mall was choosen ? cops usually give us a hassle there for being on private property and traffic there would be busy if its on a Saturday morning or afternoon, the Orange Julep is a more common meeting place for car meets.

I suggest someone make up a intinery so vistors from out of town can make the most of their stay here in Montreal, world famous smoke meat for lunch anyone ?

We were originally trying to get people to arrive around noon. I'll probably be there a bit earlier (like starting 11AM or something) just so people who come in early don't get lost

Also, as EdT was saying, there are many restaurants in that mall. I like the Jack Astors myself, went a couple times (mostly for drinks but they have food too).

There were rumors of track day event in late afternoon, I'll see with blaze_125 if we can still arrange that or not.. That'd be awesome..

In the mean time, if anyone needs any info about the meet, PLEASE PM ME.

So far, the track is a no go. I still have 1 place to try, but with only 5 days notice, I would be surprised if they could do anything for me.

As for why that place... I dunno... why not??? Cops can't say anything unless the mall owner say something first. Private property means that the owner has to call the cops to get us out. Cops can't just come in and give us crap. And as long as we don't start squeeling and racing in the parking lot, we should not have any problems.

 

what if we mention to canadian tire that we are parking at the farthest corner of their lot. We will be peaceful (and we may actually buy something from their store). would they still kick us out? We may even atract customers for them, don't you think?

We parked at Square One parking lot at the tail end of the June 13 meet. Security met us but said that as long as there's no racing, they will not kick us out.
