i really do not see why one would be putting so much power on a front wheel drive. torque steer ftl..

on the ralliart i can see it can be justified

yes it would be faster than my stock-ish rsx

but i'd like to see boosted FF cars take some hairpins... understeer much? lol

edit:// actually, depending on how much power the turbo kit offers, it could come in handy hauling the lancer seeing its somewhat a heavy car. afterall, that was the only reason i traded my lancer away. the new lancers sorely need some more powah!

Rontam would just feel dumb if our sexy lancers had more power than him, and is trying to prevent that from happening. By the way ron, isn't your car fwd and you bought it because you wanted more power?

ya my car is still FF but just cause i drive a fwd doesn't mean i wont point out its bad points the only reason why i went for another FF vehicle was because i couldn't afford an FR or even a MR

all im saying is spending 4-5 thousand dollars on FF chassis to give it more power seems a bit 'ehhhh' but i guess if you got deep pockets then its cool.

its too expensive to have the lancers turbo'd. Whoever is thinking of doing that should just upgrade to the Ralliart, at the same time u get all wheel drive and some sexy *** recaro seats. I wouldn't go turbo tho unless I own an EVO or STi, N/A all the way. Turbo is for pussies.

+1

i cant see how its smart to dump 5g's into the lancer, if the power is necessary than ralliart is the way to go with AWD.

but i wouldnt go so far to say turbo is for pussies im still dreaming of a boosted AP2 HONDA ALL THE WAY BIATCHES

$5000 to potentially blow up your engine, think twice about buying anything Turbo from RRM ......just my 2 cents

AP2's are fast enough already, no need to boost that bro. If I had one of those, I'd give 350Z's a run for their money. Maybe in 5 years I'll try my luck with an EVO or an S2K if they still make them hehehe...

If your car come naturally aspirated wouldn't it be better to squeeze as much juice as you can tuning and modding without taking a short-cut boosting and potentially costing you an engine? There are engines made for turbos and there are engines that are not. Besides take the time to learn about your car and how things work before choosing a route, this ain't fast and the furious, its real life. This is just my opinion, so don't hate. I had 2 turbo'd cars in the past, I ain't a turbo hater. If you wanna turbo your cars go ahead, nobody has a gun to your heads.

Why just the MR? I don't get it when people say this all the time. It's like the car meets I go to and people ask me if it's an MR and they seem disappointed when I tell them NO. Then they just look like when I tell them it's an SE. I'm not a hater by any means, I personally believe the SE is the best trim but then again "to each their own".

by MR i actually meant FMR (front mid engine, rear wheel drive chassis) for the honda s2000 not the lancer evolution MR trim

and the reason why i'd one day go for a boosted AP2 is just so i can experience 9000RPM vtec kick with turbo
