I was quoted $180 by John from Auto-Links. He already told me we can work something out if I bring in a few people. I thought I'd share the benefit with you guys as well. My list is as follows so far:

'09 Lancer GTS
'06 Mazda 3 GT
'96? Civic Hatch

Anyone else who is interested should post here

i say auto-links...good guys that do good work! i've had my tint on for a couple of months... and it's looking well. The quality of work there is good.... he checks them over after putting it on. He re-did a piece cause there was a piece of dust under it... ( i didn't even see it) haha

Never had scratches on mine and I got mine done last year. Where are the scratches located and how deep?

not very deep. it's light scratches that you can see on the tint from the inside.

i know others who roll down their windows a lot and they have more serious scratches

Auto-Links and Fx-Auto refused to tint my 09 Lancer with lifetime warranty. They said even with felt, the tint gets scratched after couple of months with fine scratches. They were willing to do the tint only once and wouldn't fix any scratches.

Same deal with AudioHeaven, but we worked out an agreement to be that I will only bug Jeff for re-tinting if there are lots of major scratches , not for any of those small fine one's. Went with the True Grey shade tint ; 28% all around... regretted on getting 20% all-around

^Jeff's a good guy, you should ask him about me and G. Just mention the white and grey lancers.

I ended up going to Auto Links. After having an alarm installed and now tints, I'd recommend him for any service he offers (including the free playstation 3 upstairs lol)

Am I the only one who thinks the scratches the tints get aren't that bad? haha

Guess I'm just not that picky

I got my tints redone once but only because it randomly bubbled up the first time around. But my tints were free in the first place so meh...

Lancergirl08, its only us owners that get paranoid when see those fine scratches but the peeps who sits in our ride doesn't notice it :shrugs:

3.5 weeks passed for my tint... no scratches yet <<knocks on wood>> . Only had excess glue get smeared on the glass when we had one of those hot days which ended up causing some squeaking noise when rolling down the windows.

Went to Jeff and he took care of it

Besides needing new chairs lol in the waiting area, AH is a recommended place for tints or alarms/starters

when you had your tint installed, did you supply the moleskins for the tint shop or did they do them for you?
I have owned my lancer since 2007 summer and not a single scratch, no bubbles or anything. They installed the felt strips on the insides so it wouldnt scratch, I guess that would be the moleskin equivalent. Tint Master did a great job.
