Evolution Appreciatoin Day at Dixie Mitsubishi
when the GSR first came out dixie mitsubishi put 2 of their cars on ebay..i went in there with the intention to buy one of their cars and the manager basically said... i cant have it i have to bid on ebay...ebay price was a good 8K over msrp haha...not really an issue just funny ...but at the same time ghetto/unprofessional
What horrible stories.
My Mitsu dealership is awesome. They tinted my windows for free, I got free oil changes, they're always super nice to everyone. My mom was looking at an '09 Lancer and Mike (salesguy) was like "just tell her to take it for the day and see how she likes it" haha.
Maybe it's cuz Peterborough is pretty small compared to like Toronto and such, but I love my dealership.

Yeah, im starting to wish they didn't tint my windows cause they keep doing a horrible job everytime they have to fix it.
Get this...when they tinted my rear windows they actually cut the rubber weather stripping running along the top of the door panel. I had water leaking into the back from the rear windows. Now i have these pretty nasty gaps from the enge of the strips to the endge of the door panel...basically where the two are suppose to meet. You can actually take a look into the inside of the doors.
Just butcher work done and they don't give a **** about it. I think they actually get a kick out of me having to drop off my car for a day because they know my work schedule doesn't allow for me to get the tint done and wait for it.
Even the day I picked up the car my sales person and a mechanic were cleaning my car like two chickens with their heads cut off...I happen to peak inside the service bay and notice this. He then comes into the sitting area calls me into the bay, hands me my keys and apologizes for the car not being ready when I got there and for it not being clean inside and out properly. He didn't even walk me through the car and show my everything, I even had to ask where the spare keys were. Not to mention I was the one that back the car out of the service bay...they couldn't even do that for me.

That sucks. I got mine re-done cuz it bubbled in one spot on the rear quater window dealie but they had absolutely no problem re-doing it for me.
He said if I ever wanna go darker, to let him know. But I think its alright the way it is...
Sorry you've had such bad luck with Mitsu. They're not all bad dealerships!!

Even with the problems being visible with my tint and it being covered under warrenty, they still hassle me everytime I complain how I want it re-done.
As for the rest of the dealerships, I hope for Mitsubishi's sake that they don't run as horrible as Dixie Mitsubishi. I could never in my life trust paying out of my pocket to have my car serviced at that dealership knowing the **** they've pulled on me and behind my back.
And I hope to God people realize this and think twice about going into that dealership for service or even buying a car. They lie straight to your face and then say "your f#cked in the head", they cover each others asses, and don't do what you ask them to perform on your car. It seems to me the people I've dealt with from dealerships to the head office, just have no pride and really could careless if this company doesn't take a step forward like Kia or Hyundai have over the last few years.

I ended up buying mine from Oakville. Not sure if i got the best deal, but i got it close to the dealers invoice price.
They scratched my rear door handle and couple of areas on the body ( i guess when transporting the car from NewMarket Mitsu).
Had a hard time with the service department with their snotty attitudes... especially that hollowed faced chick from Service. They refused to replace the handle with a new one and ended up leaving my car there to get their 3rd party bodyshop guys touch up the handle, while they buffed out the other 3 minor scratches. I had to b*tch at them and they agreed to give me a loaner car since i had to travel from Markham.
I avoided Markham Mitsu like a plague and only used them for the test drive lol. The numbers they threw at me made me laugh even till today. I only visit them for service. Tiger is great mechanic over there.
I tried out Scarborough Service department once, seems only 1 guy is very knowledgeable over there ( they call him the 'Guru" lol). I believe Chris? was his name... half chinese...half white? type dude. Others there looked like rookies ( no offense!)
Considering not many dealers left, which is the best dealer in the service department?
Btw, my dad just got our old lancer serviced at Markham Mitsu and ended up with a $400 bill for an oil change ( provided our own oil), engine flush, fuel injector cleaning and spark plugs replacement. Despite telling him to get it done privately, i can bet he surely got ripped off!

As soon as I mentioned who I was and what I was in for she was already going off about how the paint isn't covered under warrenty and how the paint and clear coat chips are caused by highway use. Even the guy I dealt with after her (assuming he was the one that recieved the call from head office) had a bad attitude. He had promised to give me a call the next day after reporting his finding to head office...well its been months and I never got a call.
I find it funny how most of these Mitsubishi dealerships have this **** poor attitude towards their customers...you'd think they were selling cars off their lots like hot cakes.

Dixie Mitsubishi gave the wrong banking information when I bought the car and within a month of owning the car I already had a letter from the bank stating I didn't make a payment.
