to the guy that called me yesterday and I was out of stock for the Blizzaks, they are in stock, I will be trying to bring one tire from each set that I have to showcase at the meet. I suggest if you are interested in buying, act now, prices will progressivly start increasing in November up to the regular prices at the dealer.
Look forward to seeing you guys at the meet.

EVO X 2008 (TIRE RUBBER PRICING ONLY - Your summer tire will be swapped off and put in the back seat of your car while the winters are balanced and installed)

Tire size 18"
235 /40 / 18
245 / 40 / 18 (most likely)

Hankook W300 (ultra performance light snow rated) = $900 installed
Gislaved Nord Frost ( moderate to heavy Snow and Ice Rated )=$1200 installed
Blizzak LM 25 (moderate to heavy snow and ice Rated) =$1125 installed
(taxes at the time of purchase)

i really dont understand why people need 18inch winter tires. i have 17's and i think thats too much! jus my opinion. think its a waste of money. i would rather just get 16's. 16's with steelies prolly costs less that 18inch winter rubber! lol

the evo comes with 18" rims and i dont even know if 17" rims/steelies would fit on the car, i asked that question to the dealership in march and they didnt even know the answer..either way whether they fit or not, getting 18" rubber seems like the cheapest option

ill see ya guys there...im not gonna bail out early this time

No, the brembo brake package dont allow for 17" I think 18 is the only way to go. even tire rack doesnt attempt to offer 17"s. Iam sure its possible but you would have to find a RIM not Steelie that is compatible.

hense why its just cheaper to change the rubber on the OEM rims

Some 17's fit over EVO VIII and IX stock brakes. Don't know about the EVO X though.

i tried a set of 17 with 22 offset and they still did not fit as the front brembo hits the fim on the top side and i sure no body wants to grind their brembos for a winter tire, i got some 19 work wheels for sale so if some body wants tojust buy 18 tires to put on the stock rims and buy the 19 for summer this way you can swap the two ever year instead of getting the tire remounted, i will be coming tomorrow so if any one interested please pm me and we can set something up thanks
