why does everyone think Volvos are for old people?
because they are safer?

i have an 02 lancer Oz rally and an 01 volvo s40 and the s40 beats the lancer in almost everything...COMFORT and SPEEd they own the lancer...

that being said an evo vs a c30

the evo would win lol..

i have 30 grand to spend for my car on my 18th b-day..

my choices are..

evo (obviously)
volvo c30
mercedes c 240 or 60
06 acura TL-S

 

none of those cars would turn heads except evo =)

there are too many TLs and mercs on the road

well acutally the TL-S might turn some heads but not too many

 

Damn...wish I had $30,000 for my 18th birthday.... lol.

Anyway.... buy a BMW.

 

i was going to look at an 05 m3 but its just not me.

i really love the C30 though. i had customized one on volvocars.com and it came out to 34,000k lol.

its all blacked out too..volvos the **** haha.


and i dont get 30,000 i have to sell both my cars.
which i hope to get atleast 10 grand from both of them together...so the other 20 would be a present :P

 

I have an E39 M5 and I'd much rather drive my EVO if I'm not sick.

And all the ******* drive Volvos. The people who think that since they have a "safe" car, learning how to drive defensively and with respect for others around them is not required.

 

it does have one of the safest crash ratings lol
but. if u got 30k i wouldnt get a brand new car..i'd get an older model
and mod it up. get a r34! lol supra? or evo 8 like billy here
those cars turn heads. but a c30... and s40 yes its faster than the lancers but its not
unique enough..lancers and mazda 3s and s40s.. soo many times i've seen on the road and thought it was each other.. they look very alike..

 

how much does the A4 start at? or a 328?

its a bit pointless posting in the canadian forum when you're in US, the price difference is too great between the two countries its hard for us to say which car is a good deal and what isnt

 

btw does anyone have any recommendations on where to get rustproofing? all my rsx buddies told me to go to Krown Lakeshore, which is in sauga. a bit far for my liking.

I did krown but in barrie only paid about $102 cuz im a student woot!!

 

I went to Krown here, was $125. But that was last year... I forgot to do it this year but oh well. haha.
