basically i was ****in around in a parking lot after a snowfall...then while i was having a bit of fun drifting, i ****in hit a patch of black ice!!! it was like like 10-20m stretch fo black ice so i jammed on the brakes and ABS just went off like crazy and i started sliding towards a fence with my freind in the car and he was SCREAMING like a little girl even though we were only going like 5km/hr and cudnt stop ahaha so yea i hit the fence and im like WTF! and i punctured my bumper on the corolla hah

Ya I'm definitely gonna have to get on tryin to find some cheap tires some place.

I got like $400 for tires haha not sure what that'll buy me.

You guys think it'll be okay if I just put winter 16s on the front and leave the 18's on the back? haha.

ewww..half and half....$400 would get you Goodyear Nordic tires from crappy, they do work in the snow, not best for ice, but hey that's what you get for a cheap tire, blizzacks are also, what I think 50% off now..

I know half and half would look ugly and such but if it'll make me safer, then looks shouldn't matter. It's just to get me through the winter months.

acceleration isnt the main problem in winter and snow

its braking, good winter tires = better braking power and traction for turns and ****

good front tires and crappy back = good accleration and stuff for front wheels, but when u turn ur rear will most likely slide out

So.... what if I avoid as many turns as possible? haha

Work is only a 5 min drive away, if I can make it there and back, then I can just use my moms car the rest of the time (I sleep all day anyway).
