The guys from Beyond.ca meet every wednesday in the upper parking lot behind the food court at Chinook Centre. I'll be going next week and thought maybe a few other Calgary Lancer owners may want to meet up and get some support going locally for our cars.

Just give some feedback/ideas if this does or doesn't sound like something you want to do. Other wise, lets try and get the lancer community started around here!

mind numbingly boring.

some of the guys were really nice, some were very stand-offish.
not very welcoming for new people.

I won't be going back unless I have a good reason.

 

yah.. I think ya need to be ripping a evo around for them to be all friendly for ya. I see ton's of Lancer's around Calgary now.

 

I see a few now and then. Mostly old people driving them. Kinda depressing

My friend Marek brought his Golf VR6 buy and totally took someone at the lights by Chinook and when they all went back inside everyone was hostile because Marek beat they're "leader".

Pretty impressive that a VR6 can outrun the bling-blingness of the infamous Calgary drug lords.
