Hey guys,

We were at Rally of The Tall Pines this weekend crewing for ACP. The team was running their Evo X rally car for the first time, and we were glad to be part of it!

Unfortunately the team had to switch to smaller than factory brakes to clear the 15" wheels, which put the car in the Open category, even though it is more of a production class car right now (almost entirely stock apart from dampers and muffler removal)

The rally was fantastic, unfortunately Ken Block crashed on the first leg of the rally (I believe Stage 3) so we didn't get a chance to see him run. ACP had a flat on the first leg as well which put us nearly 10min behind.

All in all I must say I was really impressed with the X though, it was 600-700lbs heavier than its competition and running on an entirely stock engine, but was bulletproof reliable and works really well as a rally car nearly out of the box!

Needless to say now I feel like getting into rallying, road racing just doesn't seem like a challenge compared to rallying.

thats pretty wicked. Is that an evoX or a ralliart or a lancer? car has like parts from all 3!

 

I was also at this event but I was with Ian Crerar's team workin' on the Evo IV

Unfortunately Ian somehow managed to flip the car and got stuck on his roof... lol but the car was okay!

I took tons and tons of pics and videos so will post them whenever I have time!

I was the only girl wearing the Mitsu RalliArt jacket and Mitsu hat.
