Question about this morning deep freeze

Ok so its minus 20 today and windchill -30 -- so i went out to warm up my car - started fine - no trouble at all -- then, after 5 minutes - i can hear my car revving up and down -- i can't believe it my 09 GTS is having a throttle problem. I went inside the car hold on the gas pedal at 2000 rpm hoping this will get it back at steady idle unfortunately it did not, but once i started driving the car was fine. Is this COLD AIR EFFECT FROM OUR INJEN? Or is this drive by wire throttle having an issue? Thank you for any input.

meh happened to mine last year, mitsu didn't say much cept it was normal for the car to pulse the rpm to 2k - 4k help the warm up phase???. once the car is warm enough it will begin to idle just below 1K. I took my intake off last winter and this winter so dont think its cause of injen. I dont notice it now cause I remote start from the warmth of my house

I had an 06 civic before the lancer and it did the same thing for the first 2 or 3 mins. I was up in Edmonton the last 2 winters and when it hit -30 or colder it did the same thing.

70kph crash into a snowbank FTW lol

It's not that bad... the rad is bent and I think I ****ed up the suspension but other than that... I posted pictures in the group buy thread. The grill on the top and bottom is mushed in and the bumper is broke in a few places.

Maybe I'll get some new aftermarket parts.

I can't really drive it but it still runs. Go Lancie Go!

He wired his own amp and it caught fire...
