Finally got my Evo VIII MR here!
Finally got my Evo VIII MR here!
And it's everything I thought it would be. The interior is cheap, the gearbox sucks, but I can't care. The engine is great, the steering amazing, great brakes, feels like a nice small car. Even though I'm running around on Dunlop StarSpecs, it's not that bad on these roads. In the snow though.....

JMF overflow and catchcan - powdercoated wrinkle black
JMF race battery kit
Powdercoated valve cover and strut bar - Black Lava
Walbro 255
EXTERIOR

Rexpeed CF lip
JDM rear bumper
Evodave head&tail lights

Here's some pics. I haven't taken any since I've got it (yesterday) and now it's filthy after driving it to and from work. And looking at the weather, it's going to stay filthy. The only recent pic is the last one, so don't mind the Pennsylvania plates.

It pulls pretty good at 21 pounds of boost. I'm gonna need bigger injectors, bigger FMIC and a tune to really get it going. That stock turbo spools great though, so I may keep it and see what I can get out of it.
I feel like it's Christmas in March!

how was your experience with the NSX? I have actually set my sights set on a '93 NSX, won't be more than a year till I pilot that beauty.
Glad she got there in one piece Ryan, that's one long *** trip for a car to take
Enjoy it, I miss it already but I'm sure you'll get more use out of it then I would have been able to. Can't wait to see what it does with a tune, there's still alot of power to be made on that setup.

Haha, good ole PA and the notarization of the certificate of origin. What a pain, glad you got through the process ok!
Your MR is beautiful! Love those Rexpeed parts. I suspect that that little battery won't be a match for e-town weather for long though.
Be safe on the Z1's!
