carbon wrapped engine pieces?

I see the carbon pieces on rrm but I want to get blue carbon ones but my question is can they actually be wrapped and hold up in heat or does it have to be real carbon pieces?

I'm not too sure... I don't think those pieces actually get hot (engine cover, fusebox cover).

I know I painted mine with just normal paint (not plastic or for heat) and it's still fine.

If you've ever touched those after your car has been running for a bit its really not hot at all.

(if it was, the plastic would melt wouldn't it?haha)

But vinyl may be different since it takes heat to put on...
